Hi everybody, Are you getting ready for Halloween? It is a time for fun for kids. Trick or Treat is always so much fun. The pumpkins, the dressing up, is all so exciting for everyone! A new season is in gear. The weather is changing. It gets dark earlier. And for some reason, people like to be scared. It provides an adrenaline rush to people that they seem to enjoy. There is only one problem. It really affects some people. They are not just having fun. They develop some serious irrational fears. They think ghosts are fun, but they start looking for them everywhere. God loves us so much, He doesn't want us to live in fear. In 2 Timothy 1:7 For God did give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline. What does this tell us? Trust Jesus! Don't be afraid! We can have fun, but if it gets too much, walk away!
